TUROMAS participated from March 4th to 7th, 2020, in Eurasia Glass, the most influential glass fair in Turkey, held at the Tüyap Fair, Convention and Congress Center.
The exhibition organizer, Reed Tuyap Fairs Inc., maintained regular communication at all times with health and foreign affairs authorities regarding the coronavirus outbreak and sought to reassure exhibitors, attendees, and employees by implementing cleaning and sanitation measures and restricting access to citizens of Korean, Chinese, and Italian nationality.
Despite this setback, Eurasia Glass was an important event for glass distributors and installers, construction companies, contractors, architects, and window manufacturers.
The tenth edition of the event hosted nearly 70,000 visitors from more than a hundred countries in a 100,000-square-meter space and featured the participation of approximately 600 exhibitors.
Buyers who visited the Istanbul show were interested in firsthand knowledge of the emerging trends that will shape the future of the industry and the most recent technological developments from leading Turkish and global brands.

TUROMAS at the Main Turkish Glass Fair with its Partner Vitron Makine
Ruth Ruiz, Area Manager for the Middle East, Asia, and Oceania at TUROMAS, attended the main Turkish glass fair sharing a stand with partner Vitron Makine (In the [TUROMAS at the Main Turkish Glass Fair] section), a specialized distributor of TUROMAS flat glass processing machinery and automatic storage solutions in the region.
Ruth had the opportunity to reconnect with clients and present the products and services that the Spanish manufacturer offers to potential buyers interested in them. Eurasia Glass also served as a meeting point for companies experiencing rapid growth in the CIS and MENA regions.
Potential customers recognized that TUROMAS smart machinery could transform their processes to become more competitive. They showed special interest in the automatic shuttle warehouses (In the [TUROMAS at the Main Turkish Glass Fair] section), one of the three smart storage systems from TUROMAS which, combined with a cutting table with suction cups, makes it possible to store, load, and cut glass in a simple, automatic, and economical way.
Many professional visitors also approached the stand motivated to find a versatile and efficient monolithic glass cutting machine. The RUBI 303VA (In the [TUROMAS at the Main Turkish Glass Fair] section) model drew great attention because, by incorporating breakout as standard, it becomes a fully autonomous cutting table.
The 2020 edition of Eurasia Glass also offered a full program of parallel activities over the four days to exchange professional knowledge.
