With over 30 years in the glass industry and collaborations with leading glass manufacturers, Turomas has become a benchmark in intelligent machinery for glass storage, loading, and cutting.

From our factories located in Rubielos de Mora, Spain, our team designs, manufactures, programs, assembles and tests all the components of our machines to ensure full quality control. Reliability, safety, performance and precision are key for our customers.

1985

1985: Company founded. Manufacture of the first monolithic glass cutting machine.

1989

1989: Manufacture of the first laminated glass cutting machine.

1992

1992: Beginning of the internationalisation process. First exports

1994

1994: Development of TUROMAS’ proprietary numerical control system.

1995

1995: Manufacture of the first automated overhead loader.

1998

1998: First attendance at the Glasstec fair as an exhibitor.

2000: Presentation of the world’s first cutting machine with linear motor technology.

2002

2002: Creation of the machining division.

2004

2004: Creation of the TUROMAS logistics centre.

2007

2007: Development of TFS advanced planimetry technology.

2008

2008: Development of the 4-Tools multi-tool technology.

2013

2013: Development of coating removal technology for laminated glass with interlayer protection.

2014

2014: Presence in more than 100 countries.

2015

2015: Installation of the first 12-metre automated glass line.

2016

2016: Opening of branches in South America (Santiago de Chile and Sao Paulo)

2017: Consolidation of the internationalisation plan

2019: Opening of the Bogota branch, Colombia

2020

2020: Launch of the expansion plan: construction of the first of five buildings of 2,000 square metres each.

2022: ÜVEG: First fully automated project

2023: LAM 405: First cutting machine using Codesys

2023: the TUROMAS group incorporated a new company into its holding: Distecglass, S.L.

2024

2024: Opening of the Mexico branch.
