From a family workshop to a benchmark in insulating glass
Crielec Vidres S.L. began in 1980 as a family-run glass workshop. Since those early days, the company has evolved not only in size but also in the range of products and services it offers. Over time, it specialized in the manufacturing of insulating glass units.
Over the years, Crielec has remained at the forefront of the industry by continuously adapting to market changes and demands. This evolution has been driven by a strong commitment to the latest technologies, enabling the company to deliver cutting-edge solutions to its clients.

Technological upgrade: a step forward towards excellence
To remain competitive, continuous renewal is essential. For many years, the company worked with different brands of cutting tables, but in 2014, they decided to take a step forward and modernize their machinery. This decision materialized with the acquisition of the TUROMAS LAM-304, a cutting table that significantly improved efficiency and precision.
However, their commitment to continuous improvement did not stop there. In 2022, Crielec made a further investment in technology, acquiring the LAM 505-TR along with an automatic storage-loading system, allowing them to further optimize production processes and save space within their facility.

Interview with Crielec Vidres
- What is CRIELEC VIDRES S.L.? Overview (history, structure, vision, values, market presence, core business, philosophy, processes, clients, etc.)
The origins of the company date back to 1980 as a small family-run glass workshop. In 1987, Crielec S.L. was officially established, expanding its activities to include electrical installations, HVAC systems, and plumbing. Continuous growth and diversification led to a relocation in 1991 to a larger industrial facility with enhanced equipment and resources to meet increasing demand. In 1999, the business activities were separated, with CRIELEC S.L. focusing on glass, and CRIELEC INSTAL.LACIONS, S.L. handling the remaining services.
In 2002, CRIELEC acquired its current facilities, expanding its storage capacity to accommodate 6-meter glass sheets. The company’s core values and philosophy have always centered on product quality and service, consistently aimed at meeting customer needs. Its main product is insulating glass, and it is proud to be recognized among the best in the market within its sector.
- How did the need for new TUROMAS cutting machines arise?
After years of working with different cutting table brands, we began a renewal process. Our previous machines had become outdated, so in 2014 we acquired our first TUROMAS system — the LAM-304. Following this positive experience, in 2022 we invested again, acquiring the LAM 505 cutting table along with an automatic storage-loading system.
- Which TUROMAS machines have been installed? Why are they the best solution for CRIELEC VIDRES S.L.? What would you highlight?
- LAM 304
- LAM 505-TR
They are simple machines, yet highly efficient — offering excellent cutting quality, precision, speed, and above all, easy maintenance.
For Crielec Vidres, after-sales technical service is non-negotiable, and TUROMAS fully meets all our requirements.
