TUROMAS presents its dark side.
TUROMAS has presented at Glasstec what it has called “the dark side,” a new era born from the total redesign of smart glass storage and loading systems. Leveraging more than 30 years of experience, this range of machines has been taken to a new dimension of performance, reliability, and adaptability, fully prepared for Industry 4.0.
As a representative sample of the TUROMAS dark side, the company exhibited at Glasstec an SR-07 (In the [TUROMAS presents its dark side] section) fully automated storage and loading line for glass up to 7 meters. This system is capable of simultaneously working with standard or Jumbo glass of varying heights, with all types of low-emissivity coatings and thicknesses ranging from 1.8 mm to 25 mm. The SR storage systems stand out especially for their modular construction, allowing them to grow alongside the company, and for their almost unlimited capacity to adapt to the size and layout of the space, enabling them to bypass columns and even operate between different warehouses.

Together with the SR-07, TUROMAS completed the line with the most advanced monolithic glass cutting machine in the world, the RUBI 516C (In the [TUROMAS presents its dark side] section). Driven by magnetic linear motor technology—a field in which TUROMAS was a pioneer nearly 20 years ago—this table offers outstanding features: a maximum speed of 310 m/min and, most importantly, an acceleration of 19 m/s². It features the exclusive 4-Tool system, which utilizes 4 independent cutting tools specifically sized to achieve a virtually perfect cut on any glass thickness without requiring any adjustments from the operator.
The machine displayed at Glasstec featured the Low-TPF advanced stripping system, also exclusive to the brand, designed to remove both Low-E coatings and plastic protections from TPF glass or the layer of EasyPro® glass in a single pass. Additionally, the table was equipped with the Lab-Print labeling system for the identification and traceability of every glass piece and remnant. This system is installed directly on the cutting bridge to increase overall machine performance while maintaining compact global dimensions.
Together, these machines form what is currently the fastest and most efficient glass storage, loading, and cutting line in the world.

International Networks! 2018
TUROMAS took advantage of Glasstec to hold a new edition of International Networks!, the annual event aimed at its sales network. On this occasion, the chosen venue was a centrally located restaurant in the Altstadt, the historic center of Düsseldorf, where the TUROMAS sales team, the global distribution network, and a small group of invited clients and friends gathered under one roof. The more than 200 guests were able to share anecdotes and news in a relaxed and informal setting. The evening concluded with the presentation of the award for the most outstanding salesperson of 2017, which went to the company Füldner.
