As of January 1, José Luis Escriche becomes the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) of TUROMAS, a recognized manufacturer of industrial machinery for the glass industry. Together with Álvaro Tomás, who will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), they will form the new leadership team of TUROMAS.

José Luis Escriche: experience and leadership in the glass industry
José Luis Escriche, a professional with a strong track record in the glass industry, has been an integral part of Grupo TUROMAS since its early days. He began his career at TUROMAS by launching the group’s machining division and later took on the management of ADA Distribuciones Técnicas, now known as distecglass.
With more than 20 years of commercial experience in the glass, insulating glass, and façade sectors, Escriche becomes a key figure within TUROMAS, bringing not only technical expertise but also essential values such as proximity and strong customer commitment.
He now takes on this new role with the energy and determination needed to further drive the growth of the Spanish company and confidently face the challenge of maintaining and consolidating its international expansion.

A smooth transition
Antonio Ortega, who recently announced his departure from the group, is handing over leadership to Tomás and Escriche with full confidence in their ability to guide TUROMAS toward a successful future. Although the Valencian executive will officially step down on December 31, he will continue his relationship with the group by providing advisory support on financial matters.
