TUROMAS will be present at the upcoming edition of Vitrum. After a period of uncertainty, the glass industry is entering a new era shaped by the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
TUROMAS will take this opportunity to showcase its comprehensive range of machinery for storing, loading, and cutting monolithic and laminated glass to visitors at Stand N15 – P14, Hall 22P. The company will also offer customized software solutions and 4.0 innovations.

Since its founding in 1985, TUROMAS has understood that it is not simply about selling a machine for loading, cutting, or storing glass; it is about supporting the user throughout the entire process to find the comprehensive solution they truly need.

Industry 4.0 – Turomas Software
The industry is facing a new stage with the Fourth Revolution. Large corporations are driving and strengthening digital transformation processes. Digital infrastructures, interconnections, and automated production systems—the engines of competitiveness—will also have a special emphasis at Vitrum 2021.
The launch of the TUROMAS Innovation and Special Developments Centre (CIDET) (In the [Industry 4.0 – Turomas Software] section) has provided the ideal environment to conceive and launch TUROMAS Software, a new range of products based on Industry 4.0. These applications interpret industrial operations through the data provided by the machines themselves.

They utilize state-of-the-art software that ensures seamless interconnection between the machines and any ERP optimizer available on the market.
The control interface has been carefully designed to meet end-user requirements: adaptability, intuitiveness, and ease of use.
Information is power, and that has been the goal of TUROMAS: to provide the necessary data to facilitate the daily work of its customers, in a standardized and open format for all software manufacturers.
New Machinery Developments
In recent years, the need to offer high-standard products with lower environmental impact has led glass suppliers to develop a wide variety of high-performance coated glass.
These new products have generated a market demand: an edge-deleting system capable of removing a wide range of coatings while effectively managing the waste associated with the process.
As a result, Turomas is launching a new generation of edge-deleting systems capable of meeting current market needs and the requirements of the most demanding customers: higher glass output with a wide variety of coatings.
In addition to the innovative edge-deleting system, the Spanish manufacturer has launched a new loading and cutting table model for monolithic glass, drawing on over 30 years of experience with the TUROMAS suction cup loading system.
The RUBI 406VA (In the [New Machinery Developments] section) is an autonomous 6-meter glass cutting table equipped with the VA automatic loading system. Its innovative design allows for automatic loading, cutting, and unloading of glass, ensuring maximum productivity and automation in the smallest possible footprint.
The automatic loader is integrated into the structure of the cutting table itself, optimizing processes in just 35 m². This offers significant economic and logistical advantages for the customer.
We will remember 2020 and 2021 as the years that tested us, pushing us to bring out the best in ourselves to overcome unprecedented situations. Trade fairs were canceled, limiting commercial activity and direct contact with customers and suppliers.
Now is the time to reunite and discover how TUROMAS and its new developments can maximize the potential of flat glass processing.
We are meeting again. See you at Vitrum 2021.
