The 2024 edition of VETECO, held at IFEMA Madrid from November 5 to 8, became a key platform for showcasing the latest innovations from Grupo TUROMAS. With a prominent presence in Hall 10, Stand E08, the group featured its brands TUROMAS and Distecglass.
Throughout the four-day event, hundreds of industry professionals visited the TUROMAS stand to explore cutting-edge technologies set to transform industrial processes within the glass industry.
Leading Innovation at VETECO 2024
Among the innovations presented, TUROMAS introduced the LAM 405 laminated glass cutting table, featuring the following key technical advancements:
- New breaking and separation system: An innovative glass breaking and separation system that reduces the cutting cycle time by up to 10 seconds. This system allows cutting with slightly heated PVB, improving the final finish.
- Capability to process 10+10 laminated glass: TUROMAS ensures high-quality cuts in laminated safety glass, such as those used in railings. This meets the requirements of the Technical Building Code (CTE), enabling precise scoring, breaking, and separation of glass up to 10+10 mm without additional processes.
- LAM-BA: Straight cuts and railing applications: A dedicated solution for straight cutting in laminated glass, incorporating a positioning system with two mechanical stops that streamline operations without additional tools. These automatic stops ensure precise alignment and squaring, maximizing material usage.
- Software and interface: An intuitive system that enhances usability and process management, improving efficiency across all cutting stages.
- Blade anti-breakage system: Ensures durability and cutting precision while minimizing downtime and optimizing resources.
Distecglass and Sika: A Partnership that Made an Impact
Distecglass, the newest addition to Grupo TUROMAS, made its debut at VETECO 2024 with a strong focus on technical consultancy and high-quality consumables. One of the highlights of its participation was the live demonstrations carried out in collaboration with Sika, a global leader in adhesives and sealing solutions.
These demonstrations, held twice daily, allowed attendees to experience firsthand how Sika products meet the demanding requirements of the industry, excelling in key aspects such as strength, durability, and ease of application.
A Giveaway that Engaged Visitors
To conclude the experience at the stand, Distecglass organized a giveaway among visitors, offering a €500 travel voucher from El Corte Inglés. This initiative helped strengthen relationships with both existing and potential clients.
